The pueo is the only endemic owl in Hawai’i, and is also known as the Hawaiian short-eared owl. Rather than focusing on the short ears I’d like to point out the beautiful eyes this owl has, and the shading around then that looks like mascara gone wild 🙂
Even though Halloween will very likely be a no-show this year again, I will definitely enjoy all the autumn things popping up in October in the stores, the pumpkins, the autumn inspired greeting cards and stationery.
